Stammbaum / pedigree

Es gibt eine Handvoll Züchter, von denen ich schon immer mal eine Katze oder einen Kater für die Zucht haben wollte und Nicole ist eine davon. Schon Anfang der 2000er hatte ich mir das gewünscht und der Wunsch ist geblieben. Im dritten Anlauf hat es jetzt geklappt und trotzdem kam es am Ende relativ unerwartet. Durch Zufall kamen wir im Gespräch darauf dass sich Nicole aus Grammys letztem Wurf zwei Mädchen behalten hat um die Entwicklung der beiden abzuwarten, obwohl die Entscheidung aufgrund des unterschiedlichen Weißanteils wohl anfangs schon fast klar war. Aber das war mein Glück, denn ich war von Anfang an in Leni verliebt. Zum Glück konnte ich Nicole überreden sie mir zu überlassen.

Leni ist ein großes Mädchen mit einem sehr guten Gewicht und einem harmonischen Körperbau. Da die beiden fast exakt gleich alt sind, hat sie sich sehr schnell mit Teja angefreundet und nun tobt ein schwarzweißes Knäuel durch Haus und Garten.

Nicht nur ihr hoher Weißanteil, sondern auch ihre wunderschönen großen, offenen und perfekt mandelförmigen Augen sind ein absolutes Plus für unsere Zuchtpläne. Die neuen Linien in ihrem Stammbaum haben das Potential unsere Zucht enorm zu bereichern. Ich kenne beide Elterntiere von klein auf von Ausstellungen und dadurch, dass ich Nicoles Zuchtpläne schon immer verfolge sind die Linien zwar neu, aber ich weiß schon ziemlich genau was sie mitbringen.

Liebe Nicole, Larissa und Björn - ich kann Euch gar nicht genug für diesen Schatz danken und hoffe dass durch diese Verbindung unsere Freundschaft noch enger werden wird!

There she is – Leni. My first cat in harlequin!

Not only do I love the white ones, I also like high-white cats. With Lizzie I was already able to fulfill this dream through my own mating. Leni also brings nonagouti and a beautiful clear silver and is therefore the ideal complement.

There are a handful of breeders from whom I have always wanted to have a cat or tomcat for breeding and Nicole is one of them. I wanted this back in the early 2000s and the wish has remained. It worked on the third attempt, but it still ended up being relatively unexpected. By chance we came across in conversation that Nicole had kept two girls from Grammy's last litter to wait and see how they would develop, although the decision was probably almost clear at the beginning due to the different proportion of white. But that was my luck because I was in love with Leni from the start. Luckily I was able to persuade Nicole to let me have her.

Leni is a tall girl with a very good weight and a harmonious physique. Since the two are almost exactly the same age, she quickly became friends with Teja and now a black and white ball runs through house and garden.

Not only her high white content, but also her beautiful large, open and perfectly almond-shaped eyes are an absolute plus for our breeding plans. The new lines in her family tree will enrich our breeding enormously. I have known both parents from exhibitions since they were small and because I have always followed Nicole's breeding plans, the lines are new, but I already know pretty much what they bring with them.
