Der Gedanke, den ich zuallererst hatte, als Trixie auf die Welt kam war: Was hat die für eine schöne Zeichnung! Obwohl ich erst dachte, sie wäre mackerel wie ihre Mama, war ich fasziniert von diesem Farbenspiel.
Der weite Gedanke: Ich hatte noch nie ein so riesiges weibliches Kitten!
Trixie war vom ersten Tag an groß und rund und fest.
Inzwischen weiß ich, dass sie gestromt ist und sowohl Nonagouti, als auch Verdünnung trägt.
Das alles, gepaart mit einem fantastischen Ausdruck, ihrem wunderbaren Wesen und ihrem Stammbaum, macht sie für mich zum Sechser im Lotto.
Ich freue mich wahnsinnig darauf ihre weitere Entwicklung zu beobachten und immer wieder Vorfahren aufleuchten zu sehen, die unser Leben und unsere Zucht enorm bereichert haben.
The very first thought I had when Trixie was born was: What beautiful markings she has! Although I initially thought she was a mackerel tabby like her mom, I was fascinated by the interplay of colours.
My next thought was: I had never had such a huge female kitten before! From day one Trixie was big, round and solid. I now know that she is a classic tabby and carries both the nonagouti and the dilution gene.
All of this, combined with her fantastic expression, wonderful temperament and pedigree makes her a real jackpot for me.
I am incredibly excited to watch her continue to develop and to see the traits of ancestors who have so greatly enriched our lives and our breeding programm shine through time and again.
